The Thirteen desserts of Christmas

In provence, in the south of France, there is a tradition that comes from old age ... by Christmas eve, we use to arrange the thirteen desserts of Christmas, which represent the thirteen presents that each of the thirteen tribes of Judea are said to have offered to the King Child ! You can find almonds, chestnuts, nuts, pasteles, dryed figs, dryed apricots, pralines, bread, small triangle cookies, marsipan, chocolate, and dates !!!

so today, for this special occasion, I offer you Pralines, wrapped in light !
