My grand mothers ...

They had long tied hair and long dresses my grand mothers ... they were young too ... like me ... and let young people away when they got to close (indeed ??) ... they had that easy smile that young people have when they have the age of insouciance ...they spoke bluntly too ... who says that they were timid and insipid ...we use to fancy them always as old, tired, wise and thoughtful ones ... as if never they were young and tense.... as if in past times women had always been submitted, obeying and patient at home ... as if they never had dreamt of going to dance instead of cooking or hand washing ... what is true ?? ....

Erratum : I made a mistake, an easy one....yes, my grand mothers didn't have long dresses, as their mothers .... but short-gneed shirts, stockings and stocking-holders ... they used to brush their hair and put rolls on ... they didn't do hand-washing any longer, they just received the brand new washing-machines coming from the States ... It was time for G.Is for chewing gums ... and they used to listen to the Pointers' Sisters on London is on the air ...the radio where the French people spoke to the French people ... from... abroad !!!
